Marriage equality has opened the wedding world up to a whole new variety of options within wedding ceremonies. As traditional gender specific roles become obsolete, wedding ceremonies are becoming more progressive, relevant and meaningful.  I have always been a passionate supporter of marriage equality.

With the recent 'YES' vote and changes to the Australian 'Marriage Act,'  I am thrilled to be able to finally & legally marry same sex couples.

A Naming Ceremony is a personalised ceremony to welcome a child into your family and wider community. This ceremony is used when parents do not feel the need for a religious ritual.

You may choose to have this ceremony at any age and guardians will need to be chosen for your child. The guardians will also need to be involved in the ceremony and will make a commitment to always look after the best interests of your child.

 What a lovely way to say “I LOVE YOU” after years of marriage. Renewal of Vows or Reaffirmation of Vows has become popular in recent years ~ from a one-year anniversary to fifty years of marriage. It can be any time, and a beautiful way to express your love and commitment to your lifelong partner. Some couples who have been married overseas choose to celebrate their marriage by renewing their vows with their family and friends here in Australia.   

Saying farewell to a loved one is incredibly sad but brings with it the opportunity to celebrate a life and convey how much they were loved.

funeral ceremony really 

meaningful can be an important step in moving through your grief.

A commitment ceremony is very similar to that of a wedding, the major difference being that it is not a ceremony that is legally binding two people together, just their way of publicly confirming their commitment to each other. A commitment ceremony is often used as an alternative to marriage.

Pets are more than just animals. They are furry members of the family. If you’re like me, you grow up with them, and they become your best friends. You find yourself talking to them as if they are human. You build a bond with them. It can be difficult to say goodbye to pets and can be like losing a family member. The grieving process applies to any type of death, pets included. A Pet funeral is a good way to have some closure.  I conduct pet funerals at your home or a funeral parlour.  You will be presented with a plaque to remember your loved pet forever.
